The only rule in my studio is that everything begins in blue.

I mix nearly all of my own hues, treating color as a language rather than a tool. No two paintings carry the same tone because no two moments carry the same emotion.

The work is driven by whatever I am living through. What I see, feel, and absorb finds its way into the canvas. Over time, emotion becomes form.

Not everything tangled is broken. Some forms are stronger because of it.
