Join me to learn how to make earrings. There will be a few to wear or give away for Valentine’s Day!

Upcoming Class: Jewelry Making with Christina on Saturday Feb 7th from 2pm to 4pm. $75 per student.

In this hands-on beginner class, students will learn how to use basic findings, beads, and jewelry-making tools to create five pairs of earrings. The instructor will provide all materials for four pairs, including at least one pair with a Valentine theme. Students are encouraged to bring an old piece of jewelry or a meaningful item to transform into their fifth pair. Extra beads and findings will be available to help each student design something truly unique.

For my Iowa clients you may not know that beyond my work as an interior designer and healer I also manage the Historic Hills Scenic Byway that runs through five counties in southeastern Iowa. On Wednesday at 6:00 I'm gathering people for a screening party at Hotel Manning. It is for Road Trip Iowa's episode about the Historic Hills Scenic Byway. Showtime starts at 6:30. Please come join me for a drink to celebrate or turn on Iowa PBS to view the program.

It is with mixed emotions (but mostly excitement) that I open Zinc for its last day. As an interior designer for three decades and an intuitive healer of more than twenty years, those things will continue to fill my time and allow me to bring health and beauty to the lives of those paths I cross.
Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful friends I have made through this experience, the welcoming community, and people who have supported this endeavor. Together you helped to make Zinc a success. I never dreamed it would become so treasured and celebrated. I appreciate each of you who encouraged me, bought a piece of my jewelry, and supported other local artists through your purchases and pleasure.
How lucky are we to live here!!?
I feel totally blessed on my last day. Thank you.
