I helped sort through these himi’s today all are are a great addition to any herd. In fact, I am grateful for allowing Dakotah to let me sneak one little doe home to Daniel that was too cute to pass on. She made some crazy hard choices today.

I’m super proud of our family project today, for the first Marc, Russell, and I placed top 5 in open sweeps in Silvers!

For those who aren’t aware, we share the silvers as a family project, each maintaining on our variety and competing against each other. It keeps things fun and engaging in a rare breed and keeps us connected as a family. At times, all of us has been on top with the other two struggling to compete. Russell shows the black variety, Marc the fawns, and I have the browns. Russell competes with us in open, only showing in youth at Nationals and Convention.

We have 2 Silver Black Senior Bucks that can move. One is our original herd buck and has pulled a 2nd Reserve once. He has fantastic coat and is beautiful even and bright in silvering. His body can be improved on.

The second buck is light on silvering but a promising body.
