We are seeking a motivated, reliable, honest, and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. Your primary goal will be to create a welcoming shopping experience for customers while maximizing sales opportunities.
Position Type: Part-Time (most Saturdays, and weekdays as needed).
We offer flexible scheduling, and are closed Sundays and most major Federal Holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day). We have extended holiday hours in December.
Duties:
-Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring proper display of products.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management to ensure product availability.
Skills:
- Strong sales skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
- Basic understanding of retail math for processing transactions and managing inventory effectively.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Maintain honesty, integrity, and reliability.
Prior jewelry and/or retail experience is preferred, but not required. We will teach the right person all they need to know to be successful in this position. All levels of education are encouraged to apply.
