A LOT like this...

Diamond after diamond. Different shapes, different sizes, different characteristics, and a whole lot of comparing before we ever say, “This is the one.”
We've looked, examined, compared, passed on some beautiful diamonds, and found some pretty incredible ones for our clients back home.

We're not simply looking for two beautiful diamonds to complete this bracelet. They need to match the existing diamonds closely enough that, once they're set, **you shouldn't be able to tell which two are new.**⁠

Size, shape, color, clarity and the way they handle light all come into play. 👀⁠

This is one of those parts of diamond buying most people never get to see, and one of my favorite parts of what we do in Antwerp.⁠

Heart-shaped diamonds are a perfect example of why proportions matter so much!

Look at these two side by side. One is longer and more elongated, while the other has a fuller, wider silhouette. Both are hearts, but they have completely different personalities.

So...which heart would YOU choose? ❤️ Longer and leaner, or fuller and wider?

But one is showing noticeably more body color than the other.⁠

Color grades can sound pretty abstract when you're reading letters on a grading report. Put two diamonds next to each other, though, and suddenly those differences become much easier to understand.⁠

And here's where it gets personal...⁠

Some people are very sensitive to color. Others would happily choose a little more warmth in exchange for something else they value more, like size, clarity, or budget.⁠
