Deborah had always pictured a silver Tahitian pearl necklace—elegant, timeless, and with a very specific feel. But for years, nothing she saw ever came close. Stores, websites, boutiques… none captured what she had in mind.

Until she sat down with us. Together, we dreamed it into being. We sketched, refined, and sourced exactly what she envisioned: exquisite 9mm silver Tahitian pearls, impossibly rare and perfectly matched. Created for Bill and Neva to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary, the horseshoe shape pendant is rich with meaning. Six sparkling diamonds mark each decade of their journey together, while delicate plumerias, Neva’s favorite flower, add a personal, heartfelt touch.
The horseshoe shape reflects Neva’s childhood in Kauai, where she grew up riding her beloved pony, Joe. In a sweet hidden detail, “Joe” is engraved on the back of the pendant.

We explored bridges with diamonds. Multiple halo variations. Different saturation levels of yellow. Every option had merit. But Rob and Chris wanted something timeless, something that would feel just as powerful 30 years from now.

The result? A bezel-set 7.04ct near flawless cushion cut yellow diamond with platinum shank and 18k yellow gold basket and halos. The contrast brings out every ounce of that golden brilliance. And the peekaboo sapphires beneath? Pure magic.

A bezel setting cradles the 2.5ct oval diamond, giving it a sleek and refined presence. Beneath it, we added a diamond collar halo for that subtle sparkle when the light hits just right.

There’s something powerful about a mother honoring her daughter in this way.

Maile came to us wanting to commemorate her daughter’s coming of age as she prepared to perform a kneeling hula at competition. She wanted something beyond the classic heirloom scrolls — something rooted deeply in their Hawaiian identity.

Her daughter loves the heʻe, and she would be dancing on a lauhala mat. Maile sketched her vision — lauhala weaving patterns intertwined with detailed octopus suckers — and trusted us to bring it to life.

The result was a completely custom, never-before-done engraved bangle in a traditional tribal style. It speaks of culture, artistry, and a mother’s pride.

Last-minute doesn’t mean impossible.

Aka needed a ring in four days—a very specific one—for a proposal.

It was a holiday weekend, but we sourced, crafted, and delivered the ring right on time. The ring was everything he hoped for.

Barrett didn’t give us much time — but he gave us a great story.

He was arriving on Kauai on Christmas Day and wanted to propose that evening. The custom engagement ring Lindsay had fallen in love with wouldn’t be ready in time.

So we got creative.

We immediately sourced a beautiful 1.7ct diamond and crafted a hand-engraved Hawaiian heirloom band for him to propose with. Inside, engraved words of worship: “He is worthy” and “He is mighty.”

On Christmas afternoon, I delivered the band and stone to his hotel at Nawiliwili Harbor. That night, on the beach at sunset, she said yes.

Later we designed her engagement ring together. They were married the next summer.

Some of our quickest custom pieces end up being the most meaningful.
