✨ LAHAINA ✨
Thank you for showing me how absolutely incredible life could get .
For reminding me that the power of community is the strength behind our wildest dreams .
3 years after my dream life was completely taken away I still am humbled at the fact that creating my life here was so effortless.
It was held in support by people I’d never met but who believed in the dream.
It was held in love by every single person who walked through our doors .
How do you go from never having the inner strength to believe in yourself , to saying f**k it you only live once , leaving family and moving to an island in the middle of the ocean, opening up a store that I had drawn on a vision board 10 years prior, winning Mauis best gift shop, to living in that version of myself in the dream I had been manifesting for years , tapping into the highest version of myself and showing my daughter that you can truly being anything you dream of to reality ……
To loosing it all overnight .
Rummaging through ash that once was your shelter .
To having no idea how to bring all that back to life.
To loosing my self and identity in the process of returning home back to myself.
To the ptsd ..
The sleepless nights..
The community now scattered …
Feeling defeated and lost …
While this has been the hardest three years of my life . Through all the highs and lows, the devastation…
I know one thing for certain.
I’m still here . I’m still pushing through as I was given another day to be part of this experience.
Even though I am still meeting the version of me that exists today through the grief, through the loss of, through the hardship.
I know in my soul , my mission is still the same .
We can do hard things. We can pick pieces of our soul off the floor, slowly piece it back together and thrive again. There is no timeline but the hope feels stronger than it did yesterday.
Lahaina, thank you for everything you were to me and my family. Thank you for everything you are and for the light you still illuminate for us all.
Together we rise ✨
