Carefree Chrysocolla was started by Kathlyn Johnson and Michele Trumbull in Arizona. We sell a stone called Chrysocolla (kris-a-cola) that is a copper based mineral. The blue color marks a high concentration of copper when found in a mine. When chrysocolla mixes with quartz (white or clear), malachite(green), hematite(black) and cuprite(redish brown) it can become very dense and allows us to create jewelry and spheres that require no man-made treatments.
