KashmirBlue founder Ed Cleveland is a science graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder and former gemologist for the Swiss GemLab GRS. It was during this total immersion in the Kashmiri culture that he was introduced to the Kashmir sapphire and became a knowledgeable expert in the field. Now twenty five years later, he’s regarded as a leading specialist in the sapphire niche but collects and trades other gemstones as well.
