It’s today‼️
🍗 CHICKEN PLATE SALE BENEFIT 🍗
Our community is rallying together for 2-year-old Joe Alexander and his mother, Jennifer Espinoza. Their lives were turned upside down when Joe suddenly began suffering seizures here in Laredo and was rushed to the hospital before being flown to Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi.
Doctors discovered a rare brain tumor called an ependymoma. He was taken into emergency surgery, but doctors were forced to stop due to severe bleeding. He was later evaluated by a neurologist in Houston and was flown from Driscoll in Corpus Christi to Texas Children’s hospital in Houston and was able to have surgery where they were able to remove the tumor. Joe now faces a very long and difficult fight ahead with radiation and therapy. Jennifer is staying by his side while also caring for her three other children back home.
First and foremost, please keep Joe and his family in your prayers—for strength, complete healing, and guidance for his medical team.
To help ease the overwhelming financial burden of medical and travel expenses, South Texas Street Culture (STSC) is hosting a benefit Chicken Plate Sale to support the family.
