S.B. 99 Patron: David Marsden

Release of hunting dogs on a highway. Provides that any person who intentionally releases five or more hunting dogs on or within 15 feet of a highway is guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor and a second or subsequent violation within three years of the first violation is a Class 1 misdemeanor.

The East Coast FHA was held Jan. 20-22, 2017 at Joe Lewis fox pen. Thanks again to all who came and supported this hunt. We apologize once again for having to turn people away due to the hound limit required by the DGIF. We had 212 hounds. Thanks to Mike Carr with Pride dog food for the feed used for the awards. Thanks to Joe Lewis for the use of the pen and to George Parrish and his wife for the great meals in the kitchen.

The East Coast FHA would like to thank everyone who attended and helped with making this a successful hunt again. First and foremost to all the hunters who came to support this hunt. Next a big thanks to all the top notch hard working judges this weekend. A really big thanks to Mike Carr with Pride for the dog food used for the awards and donation of the field trial kit. Mike thanks for all you do for this sport. Thanks to Joe Lewis for the facilities and the use of the pen. Also thanks to George and Crystal Parrish for the fine meals provided this weekend.

NOTE: Due to many factors the East Coast FHA has decided to move the hunt to the month of January from now on. We will hold another 3 day hga at Joe Lewis pen again January 20-22, 2017. We hope to continue to have your support for this hunt and hope to gain more support.
