Guatemala… you stole my heart ✨ this trip reminded me that memories made with friends and family is the best gift we can give our little family. Can’t wait to go back!

My Hormones and Cortisol definitely appreciated this quick getaway.

Give me some chocolate!!!

Read below to know why IT’S GOOD FOR YOU:

* Mood Booster – Chocolate (especially dark chocolate) helps release serotonin and dopamine, which can lift your mood and ease stress.

*Rich in Antioxidants – It’s packed with flavonoids that support heart health and reduce inflammation.

*Hormone Helper – The magnesium in chocolate can ease PMS symptoms, calm the nervous system, and support better sleep.

Just make sure you pick Dark chocolate with no added sugars or stevia/monk fruit!

Why it’s important to get your period ✨

*Hormone Health Check-In
Your cycle is a monthly report card for your hormones. A regular period tells you estrogen and progesterone are working in balance.

*Bone & Heart Protection
Estrogen plays a huge role in keeping bones strong and supporting cardiovascular health. Losing your period too soon can raise risks in both areas.

*Detox & Renewal
Your period is one of the ways your body detoxes. Each cycle clears out the uterine lining, making room for a fresh, healthy start.

🌸 Your period isn’t just “that time of the month”—it’s a vital sign of your overall health.

RE-Post: Small mix-up alert!
I accidentally switched the information in my columns in the last post.
Here’s the corrected version so it makes sense and in case you bookmarked it. Thank you for your patience ladies 🙏

{{ Fasting vs. Not Fasting
When it comes to women’s hormones, the experts don’t always agree.

The truth? Every woman is different. What works for one may not work for another. The key is tuning into your body, noticing how you feel, and adjusting based on your unique hormone journey }}

The most challenging thing for me has been to rewrite my story, change my very own habits☀️ what once I thought made me happy was having power and still has power over me.

I see my new lifestyle as a fast from all the things that had control over me. Like sugar, stress, relationships and foods among other things.

I still have lots to go… and it’s not about perfection. I strongly believe in an 80/20 rule. Do my best 80% of the time, but enjoy my cake the other 20%! 😆

Good morning ladies! Perimenopause can feel overwhelming with all the conflicting advice out there. But here’s the truth: you are unique, and your path to balance will look different from anyone else’s.

It may take some trial and error. It might feel frustrating at times. But once you start to understand your body, it becomes incredibly freeing.

I’m creating a 4-week series to cut through the noise and help you focus on what actually works—for you. Let’s find our way together.

We’ve got this.

Memorial week & weekend — one for the books!
My heart (and calendar) were full with nonstop family shenanigans, which meant lots of outings and plenty of eating out. Here’s how I stayed intentional and supported my hormones along the way:

One meal at home, always. That first hit of protein within 30 minutes of waking signals safety to my body and helps stabilize cortisol.
1- Mediterranean spots are my go-to. I load up on grilled proteins + hit the salad bar hard.

2- fave alert! I went with the grilled chicken salad — no dressing. Super clean and gentle on blood sugar.

3- for all the gut-healing sides I can get my hands on.

4- came through with the chicken pesto quinoa salad — packed with fiber and protein for post-WOD recovery.

5- And yes… a little sweet treat here and there. Because balance.

My teen years were in the 90’s. Everything we see now, I’ve basically wore. So, when I try to do any “new” styles I cringe because it just doesn’t feel like me anymore. Hence this post!

Love that I can still wear metallics, but in a modern way. And let’s be real, more age appropriate for my own liking. But I love these copper tones for the season. Everything is either from or
