We focus on achieving this goal through acts of Kindness, fostering community connections, and promoting literacy. A special place dedicated to Alyssa Noelle Audette. We wanted a place to share stories, memories, literacy, and kindness with those all around the country and the world. Alyssa left us in November 2011, leaving a hole in the hearts of all who loved her. We want to continue sharing her

stories, her light, and her passion, which included animals, the beach, and tripping over her own two feet. We invite you to join us in spreading joy and kindness by painting shells or rocks with bright, cheerful colors. Add a fun quote, a ladybug, or even a penguin—Alyssa’s favorite!—and leave these little treasures for others to discover. If you’re local, be sure to stop by our own Free Little Library: the Little Ladybug Library, a special addition to our kindness rock garden created in Alyssa’s honor in July 2020. Find a Free Little Library near you at https://littlefreelibrary.org, and share in the magic—take a book, leave a book, and pass along a little kindness through reading, one of Alyssa’s favorite pastimes. We love hearing about all the adventures your creations go on! Be sure to hashtag them with ---it directs people here, helps them discover Alyssa's story, and keeps her spirit shining bright. Happy Thursday June 4th Rockers and Readers!! We added these messages to the empty Kindness Rocks Garden and we topped off Little Ladybug Library for the new day!!! Both are full and available all day, everyday…..in all weather!

June 4th is also Hug Your Cat Day & International Corgi Day! Corgi Day was created to celebrate the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Cardigan Welsh Corgi, the low-to-the-ground herding breeds associated with Queen Elizabeth II.

Speaking of my A-Team not only did they sort and sticker 100’s of books but they brought ME presents!! Solar Ladybug lights, tomato plants and some of Kay Venyard’s special World Cup lovelies!!

Check out this 12x12 tile she painted!! We will be raffling this one of a kind piece off at Fourth Fridays Art Walk on June 26th ⚽️

Ladybug day 2026 looks to be the biggest ever!! We hope you have July 11th on your calendar. The garage is overflowing with great books and the raffles we have ((so far)) are incredible!!

Happy June 1st, the start of PRIDE Month Rockers and Readers!! We are excited to have a table out!! On it you will find a box of YA chapter books, nonfiction for the whole family, the stack of cookbooks and new fiction for adults! All in addition to the restocked Little Ladybug Library 📚🐞📚
