What a wonderful May it has been! Looking forward to a Joyful June! :)
This is from a fellow designer, her customer shared the story of her locket and it was so beautiful I had to share it with you all!

Here is her story from her words:
"Anyone who knows me, knows my Boys are my entire world.. Tyler (the reason for my "T" charm) he is my miracle baby. He was born at 24 weeks and only weighing 2lbs and 1oz. Now that is a big boy for 24 weeks, when they only said he would weigh a pound or less..but God had other plans for him! Beau (the reason for my "B" charm) he is also my miracle baby.. When our Dr said that it will be hard for Travis and I to conceive another baby, and 2 weeks later we found our we were pregnant, we knew God was even more great...blessing us with another Gift...Here's the kicker.. Beau was not suppose to come till 10/10/12.. But he decided to come into this world on the day his big brother was born.. **already tearing up** Beau was born on 9-8-2012 at 11:44pm (a Big 6lbs even and healthy as could be) as his brother was born on the same day, 12 years prior at 4:10pm... (the September birthstones) So My "blessed" plate says it all...I am one blessed mother (Mama plate)...The dangle Tree of life represents the life of my children. for whom i have God to thank for...Because, "life is a gift"...My rose dangle.. Because Travis and Tyler say, "You have to treat mom like a flower."

Stories like these are why I love what I do! :)

What a busy month April was; 5 events in 4 weeks! It was wonderful meeting new people and hearing their stories; looking forward to an equally fabulous May! Speaking of May...I am privileged to be part of this amazing event coming up on the 18th! It will be a great way to spend a Saturday, there will be food, live music, demonstrations, vendors, speakers, face painting and more! This is a family friendly event so feel free to bring the kiddos! Cost is just $5 for the whole family and proceeds will be going to area pregnancy centers. Would love to see you there!

Hope for Newtown Campaign

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the tragic events that took place in Newtown, CT on Friday, December 14th.

In an effort to raise funds for the victims and their families and spread hope across the country, Origami Owl will be launching the Hope for Newtown campaign. From December 27 through January 31, 2013, Origami Owl will donate 100% of the proceeds from the sales of the following pre-designed Tagged necklaces to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund:

So many creative lockets built at last night’s Jewelry Bar! One of my favorites because it is so eclectic! Here’s her story: A plumeria because she likes to garden, a dog paw and the love my cat heart because she loves her pets…an airplane for her husband who is a pilot, the boy and girl to represent her kiddos, a ladybug for good luck, a blue heart for a pop of color and a pair of flip flops because she loves flip flops. So fun and creative :)
