I have been interested in creating things, and dabbled in some painting, crocheting, knitting, sewing and crafting when I was younger. Always fascinated with stones, crystals and funky unusual jewelry, I was often found trolling unusual haunts and quaint little shops with my friends. My first steps into jewelry making started in 2005, when a co-worker asked me if I would like to get together with
some of her friends for a wire-crocheting party. We later took a few wire-wrapping classes, and I absolutely fell in love with working with wire, and natural stones. I started spending every spare minute expanding on techniques I had learned, creating a few of my own. I have been endlessly fascinated with creating jewelry out of almost anything: tumbled and faceted crystals, stones and beads; some shells my sisters collected; a marble a friend had been given, unusual stones, beach glass, petrified wood, river rocks, seed beads and swarovski crystals...
Although I love working with healing crystals the most, I love fiddling and making something special. I love seeing my thoughts, ideas and sketches come to life! But what I love most is seeing the joy and wonder in the eyes of my family and friends who receive my creations, in the letters and notes of appreciation I receive from my clients. It is you and your encouragement that keeps KohlKraft going! I would like to invite all of you to check out my recently created page KOHLKRAFT KREATIONS at https://facebook.com/kohlkraft
