Create the Bird Food Garland:
Put all of the bird treats together in a
bird food garland, choose a spot with 2 sturdy branches with gap between them and firmly attach a piece of raffia. At our place, we use 2 iron bird feeder poles and hang something else for the birds, flower pot or feeder. Make sure the garland is NOT close to the ground. tie the treats to the raffia, then sit back and wait for the birds to discover them. At CHRISTMAS, this would make a festive edible decoration for a large conifer, giving thr birds a bit of pampering at a tough time of year. They will love you for it and keep visiting you.
MAKE:
Peanut butter or bird bark pine cones with seed mix, hanging at different levels. Make home-made suet cakes in yogurt cups.
Make Fruit & Nut chain. Make an Apple chain. All these will hang from your BIRD FOOD GARLAND. Fun for you and life saving for the birds, year-round!
