Every rockhound has at least one thought they're not supposed to admit.😬

Mine is that some agates look absolutely delicious.🤤

Case in point: this glowing little forbidden jellybean.🫘

The sun wasn't even fully cooperating today and this thing was still lighting up like a tiny piece of candy somebody dropped on the beach and forgot about.🍬

For digestive reasons, I did not eat the agate.

For unknown reasons, I wanted to.

The Oregon Coast continues to produce the world's least edible snacks.🪨

Everybody says conditions suck and then this happens. 😳

There weren’t gravel bars everywhere. There weren’t perfect rockhounding conditions. There was just a sandy-looking beach, a walk, and one tiny Oregon beach agate sitting there being shaped like a whole little heart.

And yes, before somebody starts yelling, this is what we call agate here. Oregon
