Nature day for nana & Willa. She absolutely adores exploring nature. We rubbed our hands on some lavender to smell, stepped into a tree with a huge hole, watched bumblebees drinking nectar, saw floating clouds of fluff from Cottonwood trees, green berries for the birds, and a tiny little red spider. On our drive, we saw geese, ducks, and bison. What a wonderful way to get her outside for some exercise, exploring nature, and expanding her mind.

My poor right hand is having issues again. And of course this happens right before I’m scheduling my left hand carpal tunnel surgery. Hopefully it’ll just be a minor shot and I’ll be good as new… and won’t need surgery again on my right hand. Here’s to hoping!

Happy birthday mom! You are missed and loved so very much! Willa helped Sabrina and I with the final touches of putting in your fairy garden. It’s become our annual tradition to remember you. Your iris bloomed just for your birthday again!
Sabrina and I went to garage sales today too - another perfect way to celebrate mom. As I was driving I looked over to see her marking the printed map and it took me back 30 years. Back then, Sabrina was in the back seat and learning to navigate using a map, with mom and I in the front. Mom definitely instilled the love of thrifting and hunting for those great finds. Sabrina has taken that love and turned it into a nice side hustle!
Happy heavenly birthday mom. I love you and miss you so much!

Family fun zoo day. It’s our annual tradition which started when Sabrina was born over 30 years ago. My love for these two girls can’t be put in words! Thank you, Sabrina, for making me a momma and nana, and spending YOUR special day with me. 💕❤️💕

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommas (2 or 4 legged) How are you spending your Mother’s Day weekend? This morning Sabrina and I did a bit of sourcing, then the family went on a hike before nap time. Willa is napping great now! She is quite the nature baby with tons of energy to exhaust. Aside from the tick nest I kicked, it was a great outing at Wilderness Park. I love the look back at the end of the video! ❤️💕❤️
