Founded in 1975 by Melvin and Louise Grams, Melgram Jewelers has been central Minnesota’s jewelry expert for over forty years. Today, Melgrams specializes in custom engagement rings and jewelry, and carries an extensive variety of diamond and colored stone jewelry to suit any need. Today, Chris Grams owns and operates the store with his son and third generation bench jeweler, Peter. Our family wouldn’t have made it this far without the support from the families in our community. We do things a bit differently at Melgrams. Our straightforward, small town values have driven us to make the jewelry buying experience as clear, honest, open, and easy as possible. There are no fancy suits or high pressure sales pitches here. We want to take the mystery out of jewelry buying and educate our customers so everyone can make the best purchasing decision for any situation. We are small town at heart, but our capabilities are anything but small. Today, our membership in Retail Jewelers Organization, an exclusive group of independent jewelry stores across the country, gives us access to the best diamond suppliers and jewelry manufacturers in the world. This means our selection of jewelry in-store is diverse and ever-changing, and we partner with the industry leaders in custom jewelry design to make one of a kind jewelry accessible to everyone.
