People sometimes ask me what makes a bespoke piece different from just buying something off the shelf.

The short answer: Everything.

The longer answer: when you commission a piece from Arete Adorned, we start with a conversation. Not about what you want the ring to look like. About what you want it to mean. What you are marking. What you want to carry with you.

The design comes out of that. The stones come out of that. The finished piece comes out of that.

That is why Vaughn calls hers her power piece. That is why Becky said her stones could not have pegged her more perfectly. The jewelry already knew them because we talked first.
