So many sweet connections made at the this past weekend! 🩵 1-These friends were so cute! They each picked out a pair of mini gold-dipped leather earrings and got a 4th pair free for a friend. They talked about how they’d think about each other whenever they’ll wear their earrings and let me take a pic. ❤️
2-This tin cuff bracelet that matched this woman’s dress perfectly! She also got a pair of earrings that she accidentally dropped, but some young women found the bag and dropped it off to me and I was able to track her down to give them back to her! 💓 So glad that worked out! 3-My artist friend stopped by and I sold my first (new design) upcycled tin pendant necklace to her. 🩵 Thank you, Rebecca!
Additionally, Pride Fest was happening nearby and it was fun to witness so much LGBTQ joy! 🏳️‍🌈
Lastly, here are a few other earrings that found new homes this weekend. ❤️♻️✨ I’m grateful for a beautiful day with wonderful connections. ☀️🥰

You’ve asked and now here they are: more upcycled tin pendants! ♻️ Each pendant has a sterling silver jump ring and is ready to be worn as is or can be moved to your favorite chain! I’ll have these available for the first time tomorrow, Saturday, June 13, at the Boulder Farmers & Artisan Market — 8 am - 2 pm at 13th and Canyon in Boulder. The artisans are on the grassy area to the west of the farmers (who are in the street). It’s going to be a beautiful ☀️ day in the 70s & perfect for supporting your local farmers & artisans. 🥰

My irises are one of my favorite parts of spring! These are all from my flower beds. I love getting different varieties of irises when friends or folks on Buy Nothing are thinning theirs. I have a few I planted last year that didn’t bloom this year, but I’m looking forward to seeing what colors they are in the years to come. 😁

Avian Designs donates a portion of sales every year to The Trevor Project - a nonprofit that does su***de prevention for LGBTQA+ youth. I make the donation at the end of the year when there’s often 3-4x matching in order to make the maximum impact.

These two pair of long suede feather earrings are 50% off. They were on display at a gallery in full sun for several months and, as a result, the colors faded. Originally $36, they are just $18 a pair, plus $5 for shipping (unless you’re local). Both have stainless steel ear wires. Comment below if you’d like one or both pairs. First person to say they are interested and pay me via Venmo gets them. 🥰

Tomorrow, Friday, May 29, I’ll be at the artisan market in downtown Longmont (on Kimbark by the library) during the Outdoor Concert featuring Fave Vocal Band & Jakarta. 5:30-9 pm. The concert is free! There will also be food, drinks, kids’ activities and lots of local makers. See you there!

I took a very much-needed break today to get dirt under my nails (and on my arms, legs and face lol). I planted tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, basil and flowers. I also cut some of my irises to add to my leftover Mother’s Day flowers that are still thriving. What is it about carnations that make them last so long?! The roses were good for about a week and a half, but those carnations are still going strong. 💪
I also spent some time at today as I’m working on a little glow-up for my booth and found a few things to help with that. ✨Pics at a later date.
I did not, however, make any 🚫 jewelry and that’s the first time I can say that in several weeks‼️ (It’s been like a sweatshop here.😜) I’m proud of myself for taking some time to garden and relax.
