🤩 Hope you can join me this weekend for the EBCA Studio Tour & Art Sale! This free, self-guided tour is open to the public. Although I can’t open up my actual studio (it’s a tiny room in my basement with barely enough room for me! 🙃), I will set up a mock studio and do some work while I’m at Studio 7 — Tumbleweed Art Collective, 1333 Coffman St., Longmont. There will be 7 of us artists at Tumbleweed — 3 of us named Amy! 🥰

Visit Amy Gates at Studio 7 for the EBCA Studio Tour on April 25-26.

"Amy Gates (Longmont, CO) of Avian Designs enjoys combining her love of the earth and her creative side into making unique up-cycled jewelry. By using repurposed items like vintage cookie and tea tins, as well as reclaimed leather, she is able to take something old and discarded and give it new life by making it into wearable art!

We live in a throw-away society, but Amy hopes to mitigate that a little bit in her own way by giving old items a second chance. In addition, Avian Designs donates a portion of all sales to The Trevor Project, a non-profit organization which focuses on su***de prevention among LGBTQ youth.
