As many of you already know, I was selected to participate in the 2026 MJSA Responsible Jewelry Design Challenge!

Eight designers were given the same gemstones (from Columbia Gem House ) and were asked to create a piece of jewelry for Mara Ellsworth, a woman navigating change and finding a new sense of direction.

My design is about quiet strength, grounding, and finding your way forward when life takes an unexpected turn.

Public voting is open through October 31st, and I would really appreciate your vote! 💖

There’s also a raffle for each of the eight pieces, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Peoples Training & Research Centre and their work supporting individuals and their families affected by silicosis, an occupational disease and hazard faced by people who cut and polish gemstones and beads, often in less than ideal working conditions.

Columbia Gem House and the Peoples Training & Research Centre have partnered together for the Cutting Toward Change Fundraiser. This is Columbia Gem House’s sixth annual fundraising raffle. This online event features eight pieces of jewelry, crafted and donated by designers participating in the MJSA Responsibly Sourced Design Challenge, sponsored by Columbia Gem House.

100% of every ticket sold will be donated to the Peoples Training & Research Centre to support their work addressing occupational safety and health issues in Gujarat, India, specifically around silicosis in the gemstone and jewelry industry.

Raffle tickets are $25 each. There are 100 raffle tickets available for each piece. You can buy multiple raffle tickets for one piece or multiple raffle tickets for multiple pieces.

If you’re interested in my ring, or any other piece, please register to be notified when raffle tickets go on sale so you can get as many (up to 100! 😉) as you want! Link in bio!
