✨BIG ANNOUNCEMENT✨
This post comes with a lot of mixed feelings, partly because I’ve poured so much love into this little business honoring Cyd and your equine partners, but also because I feel a sense of closure and excitement about the next chapter.

📣 On April 1st (which just happens to be Cyd’s birthday), the Black Dragon Bracelets web shop will be closing and Black Dragon Bracelets will (mostly) be officially retired.

🐴 BUT WHY??? - for a few reasons, the first being that life is getting very busy! In “real life” I am a composer for film and TV (if you’re interested in that stuff let’s connect over at !) and it’s been getting harder to keep up with BDB as the industry recovers from the pandemic and I find myself with more composing work. It was never my intention to make Black Dragon my primary focus, I always knew there would be an end date to this adventure. I originally started Black Dragon Bracelets as a way to process the loss of my partner Cyd and to keep her legacy and her spirit alive, but the business took off and grew in a way that I never expected. I feel so much pride and joy at the amount of light that I was able to spread in her honor through each unique keepsake that I’ve made, and I feel a great sense of closure knowing that this business has served others and its purpose.

🐴 WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT? - The website will stay up and I will continue taking orders until April 1st. At that point the website will become a landing page BUT I will still be reachable through my email ([email protected]) and social media. If you have a very special keepsake request at any point after April 1st, please feel free to reach out and I will see if I am able to accommodate (please note that my response time will likely be much slower). Eventually the email will disappear as well, but I do planning on sticking around on Instagram so that I can see what you’re all up to, maybe occasionally share Zara pictures, and be available for future requests through DM’s.

Finally, THANK YOU from the absolute bottom of my heart for sharing this adventure with me for the past nearly 6 years. I have connected with so many wonderful people, heard so many stories about your incredible partners, and have had the pleasure and true joy of making these special keepsakes to honor them. Thank you for letting me share my story and my love for Cyd with you all as well. What an incredible ride it has been!!
