🚨ANNOUNCEMENT! Now, there’s zero chance to get into this jewelry show without trade credentials...
But I’m taking you with me anyway. 👀💎

✨October 16–19, I’m heading to Jewelers Int’l Showcase Miami, where hundreds of dealers, gemstone specialists, and jewelry suppliers gather to show the pieces that could end up in retail showcases next season!

We’re talking wholesale pricing on ridiculous diamonds, rare coloured gemstones, antique treasures, and one-of-a-kind pieces you might never otherwise get the chance to see or shop.

😍 And the best part? I’m working on bringing back my LIVE jewelry shopping shows. 🔥

That means behind-the-scenes access, the chance to ask questions, and the opportunity to shop pieces directly from the source- without the usual retail markups!! 💸

But I want to hear from you!! 🔎 I’m taking requests before I leave! What gemstones or pieces of jewellery should I hunt down for you? Tell me in the comments and we can search together! 👇

And most importantly- Follow Facet & Flame | Rare Gems & Fine Jewelry so you don’t miss what happens in Miami. 🔥💎

💎Diamond may have the PR. But Demantoid has the fire. 🔥
Which would you choose?

Most people think diamond is the king when it comes to✨✨ But Demantoid garnet has ~30% more dispersion than diamond! Which is why these rare gems found in the Ural Mountains and Namibia (claimed almost exclusively by the Russian Imperial family for many years) can throw those crazy rainbow flashes. 🌈

And yes, of course I still love diamonds. Just always good to remind them they have competition. 😉

❤️‍🔥 Every so often, we acquire a piece so unusual, that it immediately becomes part of the archive.

This was one of those. ❤️‍🔥

Transparent, gem quality, faceted rhodonite is extraordinarily rare, especially material clean enough to facet at this level. This 10.12 ct stone was mined from New South Wales, Australia- and is from the same rough as a piece now held at the Smithsonian’s National Gem Gallery.

Ours is bigger though. 😉😜

Originally part of a ring, this was redesigned by our own resident gemologist Matt Stoker | Gem & Jewelry Specialist | CTO 🖤 and now is part of the Facet & Flame vault. 💙

And we might just know where to find a few last pieces… if you’re looking to add this incredible neon cherry red gem to your private collection! DM us. ❤️‍🔥

BLUE TOPAZ + ENAMEL STARFISH RING ⭐️

Okay, final piece of the night (we think) and we’re getting a little weird and whimsical with it. 😂

This is one of those designs that we loved because it doesn’t take itself too seriously and jewellery is meant to be fun! The starfish is completely three-dimensional, covered in this rich blue enamel with tiny gold details that almost give it a milgrain effect. Then right in the centre is a bright Swiss blue topaz.

And because we don’t want the starfish to be lonely, the bypass design finishes on the other side with a pavé diamond disc. 😂 It’s quirky, beautifully made and makes us want to go to the beach 🏖️

So if you live at the beach, wish you lived at the beach, or simply enjoy having a tiny jewelled sea creature wrapped around your finger, we’ve got you. 🌊⭐️

THE DETAILS
Swiss Blue Topaz · .46ct
Diamonds · .08ctw white diamond accents
Metal · 14k gold

OPAL + DIAMOND FLOWER RING 🌸

Well this one is just incredibly charming.

A 1.10ct opal sits right in the centre of this floral setting, surrounded by little clusters of white diamonds that form the petals. And it’s a GOOD opal- trust us. That soft, almost lit from within body colour gives you the perfect backdrop for flashes of green, blue, red and orange as it moves.

But our favourite part might actually be the contrast of the band. Instead of putting this on a traditional shank, it has that gorgeous chain-link design running around the finger. It gives what could have been a very sweet, classic floral ring a slightly unexpected edge. 💪🏻

It feels a little vintage, a little whimsical, and very much like something you’d keep staring at on your hand. 🌸🔥

THE DETAILS
Opal · 1.10ct
Diamonds · .15ctw white diamond accents
Metal · 14k gold
Weight · 4.32g
Band · Chain-link design

EMERALD-CUT SWISS BLUE TOPAZ + PERIDOT NECKLACE

We’ve already established that we love blue topaz and peridot together- so why not do it in an emerald cut as well? 🤩

There’s something about the clean geometry of these two stones that makes the blue and green look even better together. A beautifully cut 2.91ct Swiss blue topaz paired with 1.44ct of bright green peridot, both step cut so you get those big flashes of light across the facets.

It’s simple, graphic, colourful and easy to wear. And honestly, for this much gemstone set in 18k gold, I think this one is a LOT of necklace for the price. 💙💚

THE DETAILS
Swiss Blue Topaz · 2.91ct
Peridot · 1.44ct
Cut · Emerald cut
Metal · 18k gold
Weight · 5.17g

1,350 for this one
