When it’s the end of summer in Vermont I have to cut back all the hydrangeas before I leave for the winter.. these flowers dry so beautifully that I make several bouquets and leave them for my return.. It’s a beautiful ritual to remind us of seasons changing and not something we have to do at all in Los Angeles where we have year round blooms.
