I don't have words for how this day felt. This photo was taken in Bali. On the grounds of a sacred temple. I was standing in a place that felt like the world was supposed to feel. Soft. Safe. Kind.

I think about that a lot lately because this country is not okay. The hate, the violence, the exhaustion of it is real. Very real and pretending otherwise isn鈥檛 peace, it鈥檚 avoidance. For the record, I abhor spirtual by passing and the people who practice it.

So I don鈥檛 pretend. I feel it fully. And I still choose joy. And peace. And love.

Not because things are fine. Because I am still here, still alive, still sovereign. Because my joy is not na茂ve. It鈥檚 hard-won. It鈥檚 a practice. Some days it costs something.

But I keep choosing it. For myself. For my ancestors. For everyone who didn鈥檛 get to. And for every person standing beside me day by day, holding on, hoping for peace.

That鈥檚 not toxic positivity. That鈥檚 rootwork. If you need support, I'm here, holding the light. 馃挮馃寵馃挮馃尭馃馃馃

This is one of my favorite hoodoo formulas and the medicine it carries is simple: clear the path, then move. It won鈥檛 do the work for you. It opens what鈥檚 been blocked so you can actually go.

And y鈥檃ll. Tomorrow, Jupiter and Venus both move into Cancer.
