I’ve been wanting to make a Joan of Arc piece for quite some time, but for some reason it’s taken a couple years to flesh out. I’ve always admired her boldness, her courage under fire, her ability to follow her heart and intuition so purely- blindly even.

She was just a teenager when she lead an army into battle and held the attention of the future king. She was a polarizing figure, but a captivating one.

I didn’t realize how many of you would resonate with her so strongly as well- but honestly she’s a pretty perfect totem for modern times, for many reasons.

If you resonate with her symbolism or appreciate her lore, what is it about her story you find most compelling?

For those of you who asked: yes, I am still here making jewelry! Life took me for a ride this year, I kinda felt like a bug stuck to a windshield for a few months 😅 but I am finding my way back.

The LA fires, a cross country move, a couple of family emergencies and one personal surgery later, we are hopefully done with curve balls this year. I’m excited to get my groove back 💪🏻

How’s everyone been? What have I missed? 😅
