The history of Le Quipe's logo:

Jose would always doodle on a notepad or any piece of paper he could find.

Jose was unique that way.

When he 1st started his business, he didn't have a logo. That one day, as he was doodling, he drew his very on logo.

With a little help from a designer, the Le Quipe more was created!

Later, as businesses started to go more digital and social media was growing, many businesses had to redesign and recreate their logos to fit into a smaller screen like phone and tablets in differentversions.

That's where Jose left off. To resize to fit a mobile friendly version.

So stay tuned while that is being done as you cast your vote for the mobile friendly version.

We will, of course, still keep the original primary logo as the primary logo!

Dear community, the family of Jose Chavez is aware of the hard work it took for Jose to build his salon. That being said, they would like to have his legacy live on, which is why they will work on reopening the salon as soon as possible. We truly appreciate your patience and loyalty.

Dear friends and family,

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended José A. Chávez's funeral last week. Your presence and support during this difficult time meant a great deal to us.

For those who were unable to attend or would like to share additional memories, we have created an online obituary for José. The obituary includes a slideshow video that was shown during the funeral service.

💔 It is with heavy hearts, we share the news that our beloved Jose Aristides Chavez has passed away after a courages battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed for his energetic ways, humor, kindness, love and of course, his love for being a Master Colorist and Hair Stylist for more than 30 years. He lived a beautiful life. We are grateful for the time we had with him and we will cherish his memory forever. Thank you for your support. 🙏
