Even though it hit 100 degrees yesterday and definitely doesn't feel like fall/spooky season, it's September so it's absolutely time for spooky season! I tried out a pattern on Ribblr by Stitch Lore Creations and ended up with this cutie! I don't use pony beads often so I didn't have a lot on hand when I got the inspiration, and I may have somehow skipped a couple stitches 😅 but for a first go at this, I think it turned out cute! (The pattern also says to embroider the eyes and I opted for safety eyes)
I plan to try out this pattern again sometimes but I'll definitely be keeping this one for myself 💜

This was the second thing I ever crocheted, and let me tell ya, in my honest opinion the chenille yarn in this particular kit isn't exactly what I would call "beginner friendly" it breaks and it sheds making it a bit unforgiving when you make mistakes.
That said, I did complete this cute chicken with enough spare yarn to make an egg using my own brain 😅💜

Nowhere near confident enough to try to sell anything yet, but I figured it would be a fun way to revive this page a bit 💜 I haven't completely moved away from jewelry making, I just haven't been inspired lately.

So far I've basically just made things from kits, however I did make myself a cat ear hat from a pattern, and I'm currently working on another critter from a pattern using scrap Woobles kit yarn. I'll update more on that later ☺️
