something ancient turns within me.
Not an ending
but a remembering.

In Jungian language the eclipse can symbolize the shadowthe parts of ourselves we don’t fully see or integrate.

You might feel uncomfortable as hidden emotions surfacing, truth can no longer stay concealed. There is this hidden sacrifice, blood, a threshold moment, something ending, something beginning.
Not destruction, but transmutation.

It’s uncomfortable, stay with it, feel it all. Stillness within this reorder, the gift of healing. Feels like a birth to something new within the soul.

“hanging the moon”

This is what we do when the psyche lifts something from deep within, an instinct, a longing, a disowned piece of the Self and suspends it onto another person as if they were a celestial body.

It is projection in its most luminous form:
we take the glowing, unclaimed parts of our own soul and place them in the sky of someone else’s presence.

The moon, belongs to the unconscious, soft light, hidden tides, the rhythms of the inner world.
When we “hang the moon” on someone, we are really adorning them with our own inner radiance, believing they hold the magic that has always been ours.

It is the psyche’s ancient gesture of wonder and longing:
a way of saying,
“Here is the beauty I cannot yet bear to claim in myself, so I will let you hold it for me.”

But eventually, the projection dissolves.
The moon returns home.
And we discover that the light we saw in the other was the first recognition of our own.

My dear artist friend made a beautiful offering to my path and I can’t express enough my gratitude, seeing her beauty every day on my front window. While she was installing her art, she wanted to get some jewelry from me 🙌. She chose the “finding the inner child within in the spiral of life”. How suitable to her playful self. Imagine that within each of us lives a hidden Sun, buried beneath clouds of habit, fear, and forgetting.
Most of the time, we walk under our own overcast sky , dimly lit by borrowed light.
But somewhere deep inside, that inner star is still burning silent, patient, ancient as the cosmos itself.

The solar principle, in Jungian thought, is what happens when that inner Sun begins to rise.
It’s not just a light that shines upon us , it’s the light that awakens within us.
It brings form out of chaos, consciousness out of shadow.
It says, “Let there be light,” and suddenly, you see the outlines of your own soul. The solar principle is the moment the hero in you turns toward the East — not to conquer dragons anymore, but to understand them.
It’s the alchemist’s gold, the philosopher’s fire, the steady flame of awareness that no storm can extinguish.
It is clarity married to compassion , strength infused with gentleness.
It is what happens when your heart becomes a sunrise, and your mind becomes the sky that receives it.

Let your inner Sun rise so fully that its light falls upon even your deepest shadows,
and in that illumination, to see that the darkness was never your enemy ,it was your horizon.
