I’ll never forget the first time I met Tod. I’ve never seen someone so blue in my life. Tod was one of my instructors at Fakir when I was 19, and I was instantly drawn to him. It was the first time in my life that I was surrounded by so many like minded people with the same kind of burning passion that I had. It changed my life forever, and Tod had a lot to do with it. I’ll never forget during ritual when I hugged Tod and he squeezed me so tight and whispered in my ear how much he loved me and that me and my mentor reminded him of Ken and Jeff. To know Tod, was to love him, and he loved you too. Like a lot with his whole heart. Every time we got anything from Anatometal I hoped that Tod was the one that picked out the candy. I looked forward to that hug every time I stepped onto the expo floor at APP. He really did radiate so much love, kindness, acceptance, warmth, and happiness. Tod may also be the biggest diva I’ve ever crossed paths with. The eyebrows already gave him a level of sass, but if you added a tiara it was over. We love a tiara moment. I feel extraordinarily fortunate to have been on this planet at the same time as Tod and also to have such special memories with him and to love him. I like to imagine that he crossed more of a rainbow bridge naked in a tiara straight into Fakirs arms. This world has truly lost a legend, and the other side has gained the best fairy Tod mother. I am so incredibly sorry to everyone who is grieving. It’s beautiful to see everyone’s stories, please keep sharing them. I love you Tod, I can’t wait to see you again. May it be a smooth and warm transition. Come visit 💙🦋🫧🫶🏼🌈🩸
