OUCH!!!
After 2 years of searching for reasonably priced colored glass for my hanging rock and glass hanging art pieces, I was finally able to find a reliable source. Today I went to reorder and pricing across the board is now triple. My secondary, less reliable, source was also triple the price. My original source for blue toned glass has risen only 25%, but is all out of stock. All of this in only 2 months. Shipping has also gone up 8%. I had had held prices steady even after cost increases. No it isn't just cost, but availability as well. GULP!!!
I will keep looking to see if I can find other sources or alternate ways to keep costs down without impacting quality.

Septarium nodules from Utah.
Today’s was all about cutting new rough material I purchased at the big Tucson Rock and Gem show. I was super excited upon seeing the 7” hollow Septarium geode. Score!!
Next step is to polish these on a 20” oscillating flat lap. They will be listed for sale in my site once polishing is completed.

Some fresh meteorites have landed!
I have added some large and extra large pieces of the Campo del Cielo meteorite strike in Argentina. It struck earth between 4,200 to 4,700 years ago on the border near Chaco and Santiago del Estero, 620 miles (1,000 kilometers) northwest of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
