Born the same day as my father

Clint Eastwood just turned 96, and somehow Hollywood still feels like it is trying to catch up to him.

Before the red carpets, the Oscars, and the famous squint, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era and worked regular jobs far from movie fame. Then came Rawhide, Sergio Leone’s Dollars Trilogy, The Man With No Name, and the hard edge of Dirty Harry that turned him into a screen icon.

What makes his story bigger is what happened after the acting fame. Eastwood became an Academy Award winning director with Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby, then even led Carmel by the Sea as mayor from 1986 to 1988.

At 96, Clint Eastwood’s legendary Hollywood career still stands as proof that grit, patience, and real staying power never go out of style.

Hi Folks, Life has been interesting the last few months. I had open heart surgery at the end of October. They replaced a defective valve. It has taken a long time to heal up. As far as energy level and recovery goes, I'm not up to speed yet but I am feeling better. I will be getting back in the shop to get a custom order done and start producing new pieces for my next show March 7 at the Augusta Expo in Fishersville, VA. Check back as I will be posting some of my new pieces soon.

Had a good day today, We got everything set up and had some customers come by to see us. We were thankful for the purchases and glad to see them.

As promised, here are some of the latest pieces that I have been working on. I included a photo of me working hard in the new studio. Having the new studio with way more room to work has allowed me to create a lot of new pieces. We will be at the GMSL Show next weekend on the 15th and 16th. I posted a link to this show right above this post.
