Some of the custom process. I decided to make a little video about this long-form, mostly private process. My hands are normally doing this instead of consistently posting, but I want to share with you! I forget that this might be very interesting to some. I adore collaborating on pieces like this. I didn’t speak on it in the video, as it felt like something I’d rather write about, but the side stones are for her miscarriages. We wanted to honor them on the palette. They are a part of the whole galaxy of her, of course. Her paint palette. I hope you enjoyed! Maybe I’ll make more. I need someone to film me & Philo sprinting around downtown LA from gem dealer to stone setter. We are a power duo and get a lot done.
