The Bluebird's Nest has moved! From Martinsburg, Pennsylvania to Montgomery, Texas, and now, less than a year later, to Hempstead, Texas. The home in Montgomery has significant structural issues including mold and collapsing floors. As I was on the verge of finishing the set up and unpacking of the two rooms that were to be the new home of my studio work, everything came to a screeching halt.

Thankfully we have been able to move into a nice rental that gives me two lovely spots to work and create. A bedroom that will hold my beading station, my jeweler's bench, and my soldering/clay/glass workbench, as well as a sunroom that leads to the back deck and a beautiful yard. The sunroom will house my mixed media and other arts and creative endeavors. Pictures will be following as we get these rooms set up and unpacked. This is the current state of the sunroom.

Hopefully I will be able to get my Texas business license once it looks like I'll be able to make a go of it.

Found some 10 mm asst rainbow beads the same size as the Mickey beads! Just ordered 3 batches so that I can mix and match desired colors, character colors, etc.

These acrylic Mickey beads popped up in my Amazon feed and I happen to know and love a Mickey fan, so I ordered them. I didn't pay much attention to the count as the ad showed a picture of 25 beads. They just arrived. Turns out there are 150 Mickey beads! Not bad for
