Lilypads & Sunflowers are two of the things I look forward to most in summer. Find these stunners at The Portal at Toledo School for the Arts - open Tuesday - Saturday from noon to 6pm!

Pretty petals hanging out at The Portal at Toledo School for the Arts waiting to be picked by YOU! 🌼

Lightweight wood posies with fun vegan suede & enamel accents weigh nearly nothing but make a big statement. And, if you’re like me, the statement is please, please summer… don’t go. 🌞

Psst… did you know that TSA ships artwork? You don’t have to be anywhere near Toledo to get your hands on these - just shop online! 😃

The flowers lead to…
The Portal at Toledo School for the Arts 🌸

Felt inspired by the current gallery show (and perhaps also getting Allison Clements piece at UNDISCLOSED!) to create so many new floral styles.

Fall might be coming but not yet! I’m a summer girly so any opportunity to play with sunshiny colors and flower petals is welcome.

If you’re looking to tiptoe thru the flowers with a favorite summer loving friend a great time to visit would be August 28th for the public reception. Otherwise you can shop every week Tuesday through Saturday from 11-6 or peruse online! 🌼

Birder late than never! 🦉🐥🦆
The ain’t over yet and ✨ wow ✨ does Toledo get the crowds for it! I got these cute little birdie charms a few months back and I’ve just been waiting for the perfect idea to hatch. 🪺
I think they look super, super cute with these rainbow polka dot beads. 😍
How about you? If you need them, they’re at - open noon to 6 Tuesday through Saturday!

SHE GOT INTO HER STUDIO! 🎉🎉🎉
It’s been a year and I’ve not made much but I could never, ever leave my friends at hanging. For the past three seasons I’ve been invited to donate an auction item to The Mix. In my humble opinion it’s the best party of the year, and so I like to create something one of a kind based on their always beautiful invites.

Here’s a work in progress shot of this year’s submission. Hope to see you there! Can’t make it? Peep my story to bid virtually and support this absolutely amazing arts organization.

☎️ Just calling to check in…
2026 has been a 🌀whirlwind🌀
My jewelry has been moving + grooving in through my brick-and-mortar stockists (thank you!) and with some time off of shows I’ve gotten into some other creative pursuits, both for work and fun.

Big BIG (like many square footage & exciting launch big) things are happening for my marketing clients and on the home front we just had a blast at for my husband’s birthday. Swipe through to see in the real big BIG puppet he made for the occasion.

Ample amounts of ✨gold✨ paint & wire were used for this project and that’s just how we like it here at - I plus I got the jewelry tools out to make earrings and wire up the ‘devil’s airwaves’ for the sassy little handmade switchboard operators on each of my shoulders to send messages across. Thanks to Brad + for assembling my headdress so carefully (those spirals are glass my friends!).

Anywho, if you’re still reading please remember to seek out ways to find creative joy in these crazy times. Your people will lift you up, and there are communities out there who won’t try and change you - but accept you as you are. The world needs more welcoming energy, and with our fellow Nain marchers we found just that.

If you saw me in and dug my style you can pick up your own pair of Avert statement earring .detroit.shop - it’s such a rad place. You gotta go!!
