💚May's gemstone is EMERALD💚

Emerald is a 7.5-8 on the mohs harness scale. They're part of the beryl family, which includes aquamarine and morganite as well! Chromium is what sets these vibrant green stones apart from its sibling stones!

Emerald is a symbol of love, rebirth, wisdom and abundance. Perfect for the spring baby in your life

In honor of Memorial Day weekend, we wanted to share a recent restoration project completed by Jean. One that honored the memory of Captain Shaw of the United States Navy.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful holiday weekend, and we sincerely thank Stephanie for allowing us to be part of preserving her father’s legacy.

Correction: Captain Shaw was of the Merchant Marines, and not the Navy.

Did you know we cut off rings, too?

One thing we love about our new engagement line?

A lot of the rings are designed to be customized to you.

Some have soft-set prongs so we can adjust for different stone sizes, different prong styles, and other little details during purchase. We wanted options that feel a little more unique and personal instead of one-size-fits-all.

These are just some of our personal favorites 😍

MJ, our apprentice, just made their very first sterling silver ingot!

Join Jean as they walk MJ through the process of melting the silver, pouring it into a mold, and rolling the ingot through the rolling mill. Not bad for a first attempt. Everyone starts somewhere, and every jeweler remembers their first pour.

This was such a fun project for Jean to tackle. 💎

This ring was originally purchased online, but the ring wasn’t built strong enough for everyday wear. The setting was too thin and lacked proper support, causing the diamond to pop out very quickly.

In this video, you’ll see Jean fabricate a brand new bezel head and add additional supports to strengthen the ring and better protect the diamond. The end result is a far more durable setting designed to last a lifetime.
