I originally bought pendant stones and beads for my daughters to have a project that they could share with their mom. Well, the girls grew up, mom went back to college to become a teacher and she got busier. Then my oldest daughter came home one weekend to notice a growing pile of beads accumulating in her ol
d bedroom. Her challenge to do something with those beads is what prompted the startup of Pop's Jewelry Shop (her idea for the name!). For the last 3 years my wife and I have been constructing jewelry. I try to make it logical - make a matched set with a necklace, bracelet and earrings, put it in a gift box, and offer it for a single price. It has become a peaceful way to pass the time during the summer and fall, preparing for the fall craft show season. There is a beauty and color that you can't find with a synthetic bead. Most pieces have a centerpiece pendant to capture the eye. I will post some of the newer items as I build them.
