The closer you look at this mid-century modern ring from our vintage collection, the more details you see! We just love this ring. The fine linear texturing on the band, not to mention the tasteful carved channel that separates each side, and the smooth curved indented pedal shapes under the raised diamond floral setting, it's all just so fascinating and gives the impression there's always more to see! Its body is made of 14k yellow gold, so it resists wear and tear while still having that excellent gold heft to it that lets you know you're wearing something of true value. To that same point, the seven diamonds that create the central floral setting equal 1/2 carat of diamonds! Big and bold, this onyx ring is sure to impress! Did you know? Onyx means "claw" or "fingernail" in Greek, and the Romans believed onyx was created when Cupid cut his mother Venus' fingernail, which fell into the Indus river, becoming onyx. It seems odd till you look at the uncut white and black bands of an onyx stone and can almost see the resemblance of a nail!
