Notably, Mayors achieved the status of the largest authorized seller of Rolex watches in the Western Hemisphere and emerged as a leader in the sales of renowned brands such as Patek Philippe and Cartier. Samuel's impact extended beyond sales, as he played a pivotal role in shaping jewelry trends and discovering cutting-edge designs within the industry. His contributions were recognized with the prestigious "The Greatest Influence on Design in the Jewelry Industry" award from the Italian Trade Commission. Additionally, Samuel served on the Board of Directors of Jewelers of America, the Gemological Institute of America's Advisory Board, and the Jewelers Vigilance Committee. Following the sale of Mayors to a public company, Samuel transitioned seamlessly into the role of a jewelry designer. Beyond auction houses like Sotheby's, in the past, Samuel's designs have found a home in selective retailers such as Neiman Marcus and his private salon in Coral Gables, Florida.
