Same shape. Same carat weight. Completely different look. 💎

That’s where diamond ratio comes in.

Ratio helps determine whether a fancy-shaped diamond appears more chubby, balanced, or elongated, and it can also influence how the stone performs visually.

For example, with ovals, I personally love a ratio around 1.40–1.45, while today’s more elongated moval-style looks can start around 1.60 and above.

There are recommended ranges, but there’s no single “perfect” ratio. It really comes down to proportion and what you love visually.

Know your shape. Know your ratio.
