Carving a few of my favorite hei matau hooks from nephrite pounamu flower jade of Aotearoa New Zealand and Guatemalan Arctic Luna jadeite (Olmec blue) and a nice kouma hei matau from black Wyoming Jade. Some are with inlay and a koru. I think I’ll finish most of these with cord!
