My awesome client, Amy, came to me with an idea for an unconventional way to wear a loved one's wedding set without altering the rings or just simply hanging them from a chain. Together we designed this unique piece just for her, complete with a special birthstone accent. Now Amy can wear her grandmother's rings in style.

Funny tidbit: I actually used a paperclip as a starting point for a mold. I found it difficult to adequately explain in words and drawings to my CAD team just how to get the shape and curvature of this pendant exactly right (look closely, it's not flat!)... so, paperclip mold it was!

My friend Tiffany came to me with her beautiful new sapphire engagement ring. She wanted a completely custom wedding band that would become one with the engagement ring. She wanted something truly unique and special. She wanted something that was hers and hers alone.

Check out this custom process from start to finish!

I begin by drawing out a design on paper. I spend as much time as needed with my clients to create a vision for a one of a kind piece of jewelry. For this particular ring, I presented multiple design variations and this is the one we decided upon.

Next, we make a wax mold of the design. This tangible mockup is perfect for trying on and getting a feel of how the finished product will turn out.

Finally, we cast the mold and set the stones. We polish and perfect the piece, and just like that, the ring of your dreams has come to life!
