Dark and light. Crystals and pearls. Spikes and snakes. The sophisticated drama of jewelry designer Mariella Pilato creates stunning opportunities for pieces to be in conversation with each other and create conversation with others. Her Piper necklace and cuff with its architectural language of hollow pipes studded with freshwater pearls meets a Dual Triangle mirror crystal architectural ring complemented by spiky pearl adorned Seventh Love hoops. While the Crystal Delight necklace with its slightly gradating strands can be worn on your neckline or in a rebellious twist down your back. And who can’t fall in love with the Resting Snakes worn as a choker collar necklace, a ring, or not shown, the most badass, inventive hand bracelet. Explore the architectural lines, the Viking armor, and the fierce conversations of the Mariella Pilato collection at Poet and/the Bench. A Space for Art & Design.

NEW! Numinous, by award-winning perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui is the newest 6th element from our clean perfume brand Free Yourself. A luminous, dark, resinous, unisex fragrance designed to evoke a sense of quiet magnitude and mystery.

Bright bergamot and distinct coffee notes transition into a deeply worldly blend of incense, cocoa-patchouli (Darkoa), vanilla absolute, labdanum, and tonka infusion.

Intimate and expansive. Sensual and smoky. Familiar, yet difficult to place. A rich fall perfume, enveloping but not overpowering. Come visit us in Downtown Mill Valley to get the full experience. Or peruse us online, 🔗 in bio.

“There Is No Such Thing As A Fish” is a large, vibrant blue fish on a hike. In Austyn’s hands, he’s absurd in the best way– a cartoonish, optimistic, strong silhouette. His existence affirms Austyn Taylor’s playful and intellectual approach to creating sculptures that remind her we are all animals— living bodies within an ecosystem. And that there’s always room for laughter.

These pieces become your family once you bring them into your space and act as a beacon of goodwill, good luck and people’s innate goodness shining through. We invite you to come see the newest Austin Taylor folk pop ceramic sculptures that joined the menagerie in our gallery in downtown Mill Valley and on our website. 🐟🥾

Could you tell me a bit about yourself? Conversations with an Artist: Jiri Mayer. SHADOW SERIES EXHIBITION COMING SOON at Curated Unique and Meaningful Pieces | 60+ Artists | Mill Valley
❔How has your work developed over time?
“My current series, Windows Paint, started when I wanted to paint a mouse without a mouse — the animal, sketched in MS Paint without an actual computer mouse, just the touchpad.

I fell in love with the aesthetics of this old-school program — its mistakes and glitches, a lot like a child’s drawing. Since then, all my paintings start as a sketch in MS Paint, which I then translate onto canvas in a more conventional way — acrylic or oil. Over time I realized that when you zoom in, it draws straight in pixels. That’s how the pixel paintings were born — but it’s not pixel art, I’m more interested in a blurred line. The newest series came about after I discovered Windows Paint 3D.” ~ Jiri Mayer
We are thrilled to bring to the gallery this nuance of digital inspiration made human by Jiri’s exacting hand and wild imagination. 🔗 in bio for the full interview. Save the Date: November 3 for Art Walk in Downtown Mill Valley 5:30-7:30 pm to take a trip through a sun-soaked desert landscape where shadows dance and play.

We don’t know how to do this.
Here is how we’ll do this:
We will walk the breathless streets of our towns.
(It will surely rain some of the time.)
We will walk like we know where we are going
and as if we have more time than we could ever fill
with the heaving stuff of our lives.
Our faces will wear the swept corners of smiles
as if we hold a great secret.
And curious, breathing in and out,
maybe we will.
