The story of Eve is incomplete without the presence of Eden
For it is her fruit that was declared forbidden
Some say Eve was enticed by
alluring temptation
Still I wonder if she was simply searching for a paradise promised
In this garden of glory
Knelt at the altar of Eden
She held heaven in her hand
Perhaps her disobedience is one of the most misguided mysteries of all time
Only to be understood by those who would rather walk through fire
Than to never have tasted the sweetness of love on their lips

As always, Afrodisiac Arts is grounded in a commitment to community power and collective liberation. Now more than ever, it is imperative that we use our voices, our bodies, our creative mediums, etc. to stand up and RESIST. May these revolutionary heroes serve as a reminder of your own personal power to advocate for the rights of all and harm to none. What kind of ancestor are you being right now?
And remember — the first Pride was a riot. The time is ripe for some good trouble.
