The Tudor Diva, also known as Tudordivalicious, is my outlet for my constant need to create. I cannot remember a time in my life when I have not had an interest in, or not been surrounded by the arts. I love music, drawing, painting, performing, directing, theater, Ancient, Medieval and Renaissance history, walking into an empty room and visualizing a completed space, creating something from nothi

ng, and working with my hands to create something beautiful. No reason for me to have a BA in Art and not put it to good use. I don't have to be a starving artist! : )

I love the beautiful artistry of history's classical civilizations and eras and much of what I do is influenced by the past. But, on any given day, I might be inspired by something completely out of left field and it has to be made, so I hold to no particular aesthetic, style, movement, or technique exclusively. This brooch made with copper wire that is antique colored and a glass cabochon of a dragon's eye. A pin is secured on the back so it can be worn on most clothing. Please note that this is made of wire, therefore not indestructible.

Christmas and the entire month of December was such a whirlwind and I have barely had my butt in a seat, but I wanted to wish you all a very happy, healthy, and peaceful New Year, and I sincerely hope that the holiday season was spent with family, loved ones, good friends, and you all were able to take some time, slow down, and enjoy yourselves. One of my favorite re-designs was for my for my dear friend Jayne Barstow. The cover image of this page is a bowl of beaded jewelry that she asked me to re-design into a necklace to compliment a pair of beloved earrings.
