Two years ago, Kristy called the shop about a small Crack that appeared above the entrance door of her 20 yr old Airstream. We had never seen that issue, but told her to swing by and we'd take a look. She lives full time in her Airstream, and was on a year long trip around the US and Canada, so she couldn't wait. She dropped in, we fixed it and she was on her way. Today she came back with a list of things she needed fixed and gave me the book she wrote about her year on the road. "OH, by the way, you're mentioned in the book!" she said, " Not by name. I called you the Airstream Doctor. LOL." The patch we did on her Airstream was literally 2" x 3". Sometimes the smallest thing, makes a big impact. Thank you Kristy.

We added the custom Wedge cabinet with a catch-all tray, TV cabinet and we added a wrap around arm rest with the extra cushion, and our new bed extensions.

We've had a ton of interest over the weekend for our new bed extensions for Airstreams with the twin bed option. These extensions add extra support to the mattress that extends past the base cabinet, while also creating air flow under the mattress preventing mold and mildew from forming. These are built from one piece of 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood, sanded and sealed with 3 coats of Lacquer. The side and bottom edges can also be covered in laminate to match your specific Airstreams interior finish for an additional cost. We will not ship these. They can be picked up here at the shop, and if you bring your Airstream with you, we will install them for free. The cost is $1,000 for the pair in the clear Lacquer finish.

The new bed extensions are installed in the 2026 Flying Cloud. Not bad for a first try on the CnC. I want to tweak a few things on the design after seeing them done, but I'm pretty happy overall. We've received a bunch of messages and comments about purchasing these. We'll make a few more and post pricing and availability here on the Moose page. They will be available for pick up or install only. We will not be shipping them.
