What a stunning pairing, Coral and Turquoise. No wonder it has been paired for generations. This very stunning Turquoise center stone (24ct) set in Sterling surrounded by subtle stamp work is the star of the show here. The beautiful coral beads are wrapped in gold-fill wire and finished by a handmade clasp. Swoon, it is so beautiful. The Turquoise stone is vintage, raw material purchased by my Grandparents in the late 60's and cut by my Father. It is a natural stone and could change color over time. The Coral beads are also vintage.
These recent pieces......like I said about the last two necklaces I made, will live in my heart forever, like no others. They flow through generations of my family. so, from the deepest place of love in my heart and from my family to you and yours, much love and light. Available NOW!!!

This unique necklace includes a stunning Turquoise center stone that is the star of the show. It is surrounded by colorful beads that I hand wrapped in Sterling Silver, a labor of love. Layering necklaces is fabulous and with this lovely, you have two necklaces in one! Beads include Spinel, Tourmaline, Iolite, Garnet, Turquoise, Peridot and vintage: Sterling Silver, Mother of Pearl, a Chevron Trade Bead, and Shell heishi. The Turquoise center stone is also vintage natural Turquoise, rough purchased by my Grandparents in the late 60's, cut by my Father. I don't know what mine it is from. It may change color over time. This beauty will live in my heart forever and it is a piece of me and my family.

It has been a while since I have been around but I have finally finished a new pieceI Yes, just one, but I have two more in the works and this one is very beautiful with a unique backstory. I am calling this piece the Time Traveler Necklace and it is available now in my online shop.

The Turquoise center stone was cut by my Father in the early 70’s from rough material that was purchased by my Grandparent’s. We don’t know what mine it is from. I wire wrapped the chain using vintage trade beads: White Hearts, Chevrons, clear African Glass as well as fine shell heishi and gemmy Spinel and Tourmaline.

I took countless hours laying out beads to configure the beautiful layout that came to be. Along the way I went on a journey with the trade beads. I wondered where they had traveled through their long lives. Whose hands had they passed through. With the Turquoise, I wondered what my Dad was thinking while he was cutting that stone.  Oh so many things...

The Time Traveler Necklace available NOW  in my online shop!

This is what 48 looks like. Emotionally strong, Spiritually bright, those two things holding my physical body together in my mind so I can stay grounded and present every moment. Gifted beyond imaginable with support in every which way: dearest friends, family, husband, fur baby Lily, the Ocean, my work and you.

My work brings me joy, allows me to be in the present moment like nothing else in the world, something I cannot express in words but I will try. Designing, building with my two hands, while working with stones, metals, fire and tools is amazing to me. There is such a healing force throughout the entire process. It is like a meditative dance between me and the piece that I am creating. Also a journey, Often difficult and challenging, which means I am pushing boundaries, trying different techniques. Making one of a kind pieces is always a journey and I would have it no other way.

Lately I have been moving very slowly with my work coming off of a long break due to health issues. These issues will always be in my life but hopefully, no, we (my and my team of doctors) will come to manage things better. Until then, I live and thrive where the Pacific Ocean meets the land in a conserved area. The sea life is beyond incredible and everyday I touch the waters that we could not live without. The inspiration it brings to me is unboundless and the healing force so incredible that it often brings me to tears.

I hope that you feel this beauty, light and love in my work. Thank you for the kind words and purchases, for being here with me. Your support means so very much to me. These pieces I make for you are to bring you joy, healing light, love and more. My job is to create some little piece of magic for you. It is much more than something to adorn. So don’t forget the magic.
Much Love,
Sarah

Happy Spring Equinox! I am ready for this release tomorrow morning, Saturday the 21st at 10am Pacific time. I am including a couple of discounted pieces, one that I made a while back (Watermelon Tourmaline) and a new piece that will be discounted because the main stone was internally fractured while setting (Moss Aquamarine with a hand beaded chain). Both are beauties.

It feels like Spring sprung quite a while ago with the warm weather we have been having for quite a while here on the West Coast. Germination, blooms, shades of green on the deciduous trees, pollen everywhere, birds coming and going, it all started happening so long ago. It is horrible for Mother Earth, but I can’t say that I have not been enjoying it. I have had many beach days with light jackets and this last week has been so warm (high 70’s but not at the beach 😎) with my bathing suit and diving into waves. Yes, the water for humans is still darn cold, but I must take advantage of the healing Pacific ocean. I wish you all well and hope to see you on my website tomorrow!  Thanks for being here with me. ❤️

The inclusions in Dendritic Agates are created by iron or manganese and remind people of different things. Now that I live on the Monterey bay, they remind me of the kelp that grows in the bay and the beautiful coralline algae that I find growing on the rocks at low tide and also on the sand sometime on bits of rocks or shells. They are stunning, very delicate, fern like and live in the red family. There is one photo at the end of the line to give you an idea.
This simple necklace featuring a Dendrtic Agate is set simply in Sterling with a handmade 16” chain with a 2” extension using hand wrapped pearls. This beauty will be available this Saturday, March 20th at 10AM Pacific time.

A new little beauty featuring a Sonoran Turquoise stone with bits of Pyrite. It is simply set in Sterling Silver and is a lovely piece that is perfect for everyday wear. I felt that this stone would stand perfectly on its own with its beauty. This necklace measures 16” with a 2” extension  made with wire wrapped amazonite beads.
It also looks fabulous paired with my new earrings, which will be available this Saturday, March 21st, at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.

Simple beauty at its best. A bicolor faceted green and pink Tourmaline is a lovely little pendant for any occasion. This little beauty stemmed from the last pair of earrings that I made that were inspired by King Tides. Those earrings were also the inspiration for the next few simple pendants that are coming out this week.
This little beauty ( 16”-18” long) along with these stunning earrings will be available this Saturday, March 21st at 10AM Pacific time. ❤️

These new earrings are Sitting Pretty, don’t you think? These are one of the first designs I created in January after my major inspiration flow stemming from the King tides we had here this Winter on the California coast. Pink Tourmaline, Carico Lake Turquoise, Dendritic Agate all set in Sterling Silver.

After finishing them I was thinking how Spring-like they are and how they are reflective of the colors I am encountering around me currently. I decided to go back to my photos of the King tides and, BOOM there it was, the inspiration! (I’ve included a few photos for you to see)

I am excited about these beauties, to say the least. They will be available sometime this March and I will keep you posted.

Thanks for all of your love and support!
Love,
Sarah

Oregon Sunstone Beauties! Available today, Saturday at 5pm Pacific time on my website!

When I was working with these soft, lovely stones they were very grounding. I picked up one of my favorite metaphysical stone books to read about it and one of the first things that I read was that Sunstone teaches you to utilize your skills and abilities in service to others. It is a stone of abundance, helping you take action to manifest your desires in reality. That really hit home for me because that was exactly what I was doing! Haha!

I picked these unusual Oregon Sunstones at the mine owners booth years ago. I liked that they were not the usual Orange color and had this beautiful soft green blue to them. I hope you like them. I sure do.

Come by and visit my shop tonight! Hope to see you there. Check out my stories to see the new work that will be available. Thank you for all of your support. Much Love, Sarah ❤️
