It’s been a while since I’ve talked about gold prices.
The reality is that costs have been increasing faster than many of us in the jewelry industry can reasonably keep up with. Repricing the entire collection is a huge undertaking and there’s a lot to consider so I’ve held steady over the past 8 months.
Thankfully, gold seems to have stabilized a bit recently, but I’ve still been selling work based on outdated spot gold prices, which means a pricing adjustment is necessary.
Beginning June 1, you may notice increases on some pieces throughout the collection. The most significant adjustments will be on heavier gold work, particularly 18k pieces and diamond bands.
I wanted to share this in case you’ve been considering a purchase and would like to place an order before the increase takes effect. You’re also welcome to visit one of our retail partners this week for sizing and special orders.
Talking about pricing is always a little uncomfortable for me, but ultimately I care deeply about transparency and keeping my work as accessible as I can while also creating in a way that’s sustainable for a small independent studio.
Thank you, always, for supporting handmade work and the people behind it.
