Update:
Fortunately, we don’t seem to have suffered any structural damage but there was widespread devastation to trees and power lines across multiple municipalities, which left over 250,000 without power. We don’t have a solid idea when it will return but our utilities hope all should be restored no later than Friday.
Fortunately, we have a generator and are still able to take and ship orders.
Due to switching power to my studio being a whole thing involving a multitude of extension cords, we are only powering it once a day and disconnecting when existing orders are completed to conserve power for our home.
Any orders placed after I leave for the day will be completed the next day.
I am not taking any rush orders until power is restored, which is estimated to be sometime before Friday.
Every day, more and more crews from outside tree service and utility companies arrive to help and we are beyond grateful for those who are not home right now and working well into the night to restore our communities.
Many local post offices are closed due to power outages, but we are dropping off all completed orders in a neighboring town that is still accepting mail in their dropbox if we are unable to find a carrier out in the area.
As they may not be able to be scanned in at acceptance, packages may not immediately show tracking information until they are checked into the next hub (likely Chicago).
Packages that would normally have been routed through Indianapolis will likely be shipped via alternative routes, as Indianapolis and central Indiana are experiencing massive flooding right now. There may be delays as a result.
Please send positivity to our entire state while we navigate the disaster cleanup and our new normal. It’s miserable here.
If you have any questions, please send us a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
